Password Security

You choose your password to protect yourself. A password refers to your secret code, PIN, or phrase that you selected when you signed up for Online Banking. We recommend the following tips for securely managing Urban Partnership Bank account passwords: 

  • Never reveal your password
  • Passwords are case sensitive, a minimum of 8 and maximum of 12 characters, at least one upper case and one lower case letter, a number and symbol.
  • You can change your Online Banking password under User Options within Online Banking at any time.
  • We recommend that you change your password at least every 6 months.
  • Do not use your Social Security number as a username or password.
  • Do not share your passwords with anyone.  

If you have questions about what password to enter in order to access Online Banking for the first time, contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-905-7725 or follow the instructions on the help screens during the Online Banking sign-up. 

Warning: We do not have access to your password. In the case of a forgotten password please follow the instructions to reset your password. In the case of forgotten challenge questions, contact our Customer Service Team and ask them to reset your password for Online Banking.
